About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program preferred.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify prescription information and patient data for accuracy.
• Maintain and organize pharmacy inventory, including ordering and restocking medications and supplies.
• Process insurance claims and handle billing procedures.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy work area.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
