About The Position

Performs a variety of duties required in pharmacy operations and assists the pharmacists in the accomplishment of their duties. Under the supervision of the professional staff, accomplishes competent, efficient and timely performance of assignments within the structure of the Pharmacy Department.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school/GED required or equivalent experience.
• Current pharmacy technician licensure from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Four or more years of experience as a registered pharmacy technician (RPhT).
• Meet career ladder requirements as per designated work location.

Nice To Haves

• College or commercial school courses in basic sciences, mathematics, business or other related areas.
• Completion of technician training program.
