About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician at Rite Aid, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager in delivering exceptional service to customers while maintaining the Pharmacy department. Your responsibilities will include processing prescriptions, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized environment, all while contributing to the overall mission of improving health and wellness in the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician state and/or national certification required.
• Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription information including patient searches, prescriber searches, drug selection, and insurance billing.
• Accept customer and prescription information for new and refill prescriptions.
• Retrieve medication from inventory and create prescription labels.
• Place medication into prescription containers and complete related paperwork.
• Assist in maintaining the Pharmacy department's cleanliness and organization.
• Manage inventory processes including order review and restocking shelves.
• Administer Rite Aid programs such as FlavoRx and Living More.
