About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician at Personalized Skin Solutions is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing and shipping of compounded medications to patients. This role involves working under the supervision of the Fulfillment Director and Compounding Director, adhering to pharmacy laws and company procedures, and maintaining high standards of quality and confidentiality in medication handling.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks from multiple sources.
• Strong sense of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information.

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Technician Certification is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in a mail order pharmacy preferred but not required.
• Experience in nonsterile compounding pharmacy preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all compounded medication is accurately processed and shipped to patients.
• Comply with federal and state pharmacy laws, including USP 800 and USP 795.
• Perform duties in compliance with company standard operating procedures under supervision.
• Generate and print labels and shipping documents as per regulations.
• Label prescription containers under pharmacist supervision.
• Package medications accurately prior to shipping.
• Deliver medications to the indicated patient address.
• Stock and restock inventory as needed.
• Calculate sizes and quantities of boxes for shipping.
• Monitor inventory status and update the inventory system.
• Fill in logs and reports accurately and completely.
• Receive incoming drug and supply shipments.
• Meet fulfillment deadlines consistently.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and facility as per directives.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected patient health information.
• Complete special projects as assigned.
