Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 6 months of experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Pharmacy Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and acknowledge them with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
• Model excellent patient care by engaging with patients and meeting their needs, including processing orders and directing them to products.
• Maintain a clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use pharmacy computer systems to maximize efficiency and provide optimal patient care.
• Assist in improving outcomes using knowledge of service and business metrics.
• Execute company initiatives and programs effectively.
• Complete required training programs and exams.
• Follow all company, state, and federal policies, including HIPAA regulations.
• Finalize sales using the cash register according to established procedures.
• Transcribe data from prescriptions accurately to generate custom labels.
• Maintain proper inventory levels by ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies.
• Answer telephone inquiries politely and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns effectively.
• File written prescriptions daily.
