WHAT TO EXPECT As a full-time Pharmacy Technician, you ensure we accurately fulfill patients' orders and properly prepare medications alongside our pharmacist. Complying with all regulatory and packaging policies, you correctly measure, count, label, and document medicine and dosages. Following the patient's order, you correctly package medicine, fill unit dose cards, and ensure label quantities match medication counts. You check expiration dates, place orders in the right bags, and label items like liquids, insulin, and inhalers. As needed, you jump in to assist the pharmacy team with other duties to ensure smooth days and seamless patient care! Requirements

  • Michigan pharmacy technician license OR eligibility for the program
  • Medical terminology knowledge
  • Ability to comply with company policies, patient protocols, governmental regulations, and the code of conduct
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
  • Ability to complete annual online education requirements by the designated completion date
  • Honest and trustworthy spirit
  • Strong English communication and collaboration skills
  • Basic computer proficiency with an ability to use pharmacy software and general office equipment
  • Attention to detail, mathematical skills, and thoroughness
  • High school diploma or equivalent
