About The Position

Flexible positions in the Pharmacy. Pharmacy Technician Trainee Will Be Responsible For:  •    Transcribes physician's written orders. •    Delivers requested medications to nursing stations and other hospital departments. •    Replaces floor stock and prepares IV admixtures. •    Maintains pharmacy workroom in clean and orderly condition.  •    Charges replacement vouchers and fills medication bags. Pharmacy Technician Trainee Qualifications What You Will Need: On-the-job training provided. Previous experience with pharmaceutical products and distribution preferred.  Experience in computer input with menu driven programs preferred. High school graduate or GED equivalent with basic to intermediate computer skills including the ability to learn new systems. In addition, minimum of 500 hours is required to complete the training and then one year to successfully complete a national examination. Excellent Typing skills.
