The University Hospitals Pharmacy Technician Training Program is now open for applications!! Our accelerated training program will provide you with all of the classroom and hands-on skill building required to become a state registered and nationally certified Pharmacy Technician here at University Hospital in as little as 16 weeks. This program begins on June 29th, 2026. Pharmacy Technician Trainees are: Responsible for logistically organizing, collaborating and /or delivering required discharge medications to patients and/or families or caregivers. The Trainee will ensure the successful hand off to the appropriate medications to enable the improvement of the patient's health management & experience. The Trainee will interact primarily with pharmacists, patients, other members of the patient care team & representatives of outside organizations (pharmacies, long term care facilities, etc.).
