The Pharmacy Technician Student position is a four-month accelerated program designed for individuals who are ready to commit to a focused, detail-driven learning experience in a professional pharmacy environment. Throughout the program, students participate in a variety of structured training components, including classroom lectures, onsite experiences, hospital and retail rotations, IV admixture preparation, compounding, retail operations, pediatrics and newborn exposure, and logistics. Under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists, students take on meaningful responsibilities that strengthen technical skills, accuracy, and confidence across multiple areas of pharmacy practice. Training emphasizes safe medication practices, prevention of medication errors, hazardous drug preparation, effective customer service, and the timely delivery of critical medications.
