Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
• One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in the OR, NICU, and Infusion Center Pharmacy Satellites.
• Assist Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
• Perform various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals.
• Demonstrate proficiency to practice in two or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient).
• Provide patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
