About The Position
The University of Illinois Chicago is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to join the 340 Program Compliance Team within the Ambulatory Pharmacy Services department. This full-time position is located in Chicago, IL, and requires a strong understanding of the 340B Program. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable, reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to maintaining compliance with 340B regulations. The role involves supervising pharmacy technicians, externs, and students, as well as collaborating with the compliance team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the 340B Program. The working hours are Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift scheduled between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. In this position, the Pharmacy Technician Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for pharmacy technicians, monitoring their performance, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. The role also includes conducting audits, evaluating patient eligibility, and fostering relationships with internal and external colleagues to improve program efficiency.
