About The Position
Under the direction of a Pharmacist, provides technical assistance, processing and preparing medications and supplies. Works with multiple medication automation systems. Delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas. Triages phone calls and messages from multidisciplinary team members. Able to work in complex pharmacy areas (satellites, sterile product compounding, controlled substance handling, inventory management). Under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, prepares and dispenses outpatient prescriptions. Delivers prescriptions to patients as needed. Triages phone calls and messages from patients and multidisciplinary team members. Able to work in complex pharmacy content areas (nonsterile compounding, controlled substance handling, inventory management) and work with multiple outpatient pharmacy systems and tools.
