About The Position

Fairview Range is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our Retail Pharmacy Team in Hibbing, MN. As a Pharmacy Technician you will assist the Site Manager/Pharmacist-In-Charge with tasks in the pharmacy. You will respond to and resolve insurance questions, process prescriptions, and address issues quickly and accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Candidates not currently registered as a Technician with the MN Board of Pharmacy will need to be registered prior to hire and maintain registration

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program
• 1 year retail and/or pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve insurance questions
• Process prescriptions
• Address issues quickly and accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Assist in preparing and dispensing medications and supplies
• Enter new and refill prescriptions in the computer system
• Work with physician offices to obtain refill requests
• Handle cash register transactions
• Receive patient prescriptions
• Unpack/verify stock-to-invoices
• Help maintain the pharmacy in proper order
