About The Position
About Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital, founded in 1965, formerly known as Botsford Hospital, is a 330-bed teaching hospital with level II trauma center status. In 2014, Beaumont Farmington Hills hospital announced a $160 million expansion project which included an expansion of the hospital's Emergency and Trauma Center, construction of a new critical care unit and creation of a dedicated observation unit. In addition, the plan called for expanding and modernizing surgical services with nine new operating rooms. The expansion included a five-story, 80-bed tower. Scope of Work Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution and dispensing of prescriptions. Within the Hospital, rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine. Rotation to OR Pharmacy Services and Outpatient Pharmacy Services may be required. Performs data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department.
Requirements
- A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED.
- Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.
