About The Position

Maxor National Pharmacy Services, LLC is seeking a PRN-day shift, certified pharmacy technician to work in a clinic-based pharmacy at North Texas Area Community Health Center Pharmacy. We are looking for a compassionate and competent professional with a drive to succeed. NTACHC offers a full range of quality family-oriented comprehensive primary and preventive services, including Family Medicine, Pediatrics, OB-GYN, family planning services, prenatal care, behavioral care services (depression and anxiety counseling) and health education promotion and disease prevention services. The clinic is designated a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and the pharmacy is managed by Maxor National Pharmacy Services, headquartered in Amarillo, TX. Spanish-speaking is a PLUS!

Requirements

• Current PTCB Certification is a plus
• 2+ years retail pharmacy experience is preferred
• Computer experience mandatory
• Proven track record of exemplary customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
• Nationally certified by PTCB is a PLUS
• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take prescription orders
• Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues
• Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
• Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
• Answer the phone
• Input customer information into the computer system
