About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician responsible for accurately charging prescriptions and ensuring all prescription billing information is correct before processing. Requirements

• Active Pharmacy Technician license or registration (as required by state).
• Previous pharmacy technician or pharmacy billing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with prescription information.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy management systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately charge and process prescription claims in the pharmacy system.
• Review prescriptions for correct billing information, including insurance details, copays, and pricing.
• Verify prescription data to ensure accuracy before final processing.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies or rejected claims.
• Communicate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to clarify prescription details when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription records in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
• Follow pharmacy policies and procedures regarding billing, documentation, and confidentiality.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as needed.
