About The Position

Moore Regional Hospital’s pharmacy team seeks a local high school student to assist inpatient pharmacists in preparing medications, managing drug inventory, and ensuring safe and efficient medication management services that enhance the patient experience. Hours are mostly weekends with some afternoon / evenings dependent on need and availability.

Responsibilities

• sterile compounding
• non-sterile drug compounding
• pharmacy inventory duties (stocking, rotation of stock, outdate checking, etc.)
• medication distribution
• preparing patient-specific medications
• stocking and inventory management of Omnicell automated drug cabinets
• emergency drug kit preparation
