About The Position

This position is a federal role that requires applicants to demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties associated with the job. Experience can include both paid and unpaid work, including volunteer service through National Service programs such as the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps. Applicants must clearly outline their duties and responsibilities in their resume, including the total number of hours worked per week. The position requires certification to administer radiologic procedures as per Public Law 97-35, which mandates that individuals must have completed an accredited educational program and be certified as radiographers. Specialized experience is required for positions at GS-4 and above, particularly in dental assistance or related fields.

Requirements

• At least three months of general experience for GS-02 grade.
• At least six months of general experience for GS-03 grade.
• One year of experience for GS-04 grade, including six months of specialized experience in dental assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in medical office support or dental office receptionist roles.
• Certification as a radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiologic procedures in compliance with federal regulations.
• Provide dental assistance in general or specialized dentistry.
• Maintain accurate records of dental treatments and patient scheduling.
• Demonstrate familiarity with dental terminology.
