About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be licensed and work remotely to manage new or refill orders, adjudicate insurance claims, and handle order exceptions. Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is a long-term care pharmacy specializing in care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the United States. Requirements

Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy
Must possess an Ohio State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
Experience with FrameworkLTC is required
Type an average of 60 wpm
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Can meet order deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Understands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptions
Can perform pharmacy calculations
Is available for occasional overtime
