About The Position

Revive Rx Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician specializing in Non-Sterile Compounding to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to the preparation and compounding of customized medications. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and ensuring the safe handling and preparation of non-sterile compounded products under the supervision of our experienced pharmacists.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensing: Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
• Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing Pharmacy Continuing Education.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting, with experience in non-sterile compounding preferred.
• Proficiency in using internet, email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision and focus adjustment capabilities are required.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and a willingness to undergo ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Accurately compound non-sterile medications according to detailed formulas and specifications.
• Maintain compliance with USP 795 regulations for non-sterile compounding.
• Safely handle and maintain compounding equipment, ensuring all materials are stored and used appropriately.
• Monitor and manage inventory of chemicals and supplies required for non-sterile compounding.
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality to support operational needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Uphold high standards of quality in all compounding activities, regularly reviewing processes for potential improvements.
• Gain familiarity with compounding procedures and products used in various pharmacy departments.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support pharmacy operations.
