About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician Non-Sterile Compounding is responsible for assisting Pharmacists in the dispensing and distribution of compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) and non-sterile drug products. Under the direct supervision of a registered Pharmacist and following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and USP guidelines prepares non-sterile drug products in order to ensure medications are ready and available for administration to the patient. Maintains accurate records utilizing established policies and procedures. If not already experienced in this area, Pharmacy Technicians at this level are expected to train and be fully proficient in non-sterile compounding within six (6) months of start date in the job. Responsibilities
