About The Position

Under the supervision of Pharmacists, assists in the formulation, preparation, dispensing, and delivery of medications and pharmaceutical supplies. The mission of Baltimore Washington Medical Center is to provide the highest quality healthcare services to the communities we serve.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• MUST HAVE IV ROOM EXPERIENCE
• Completion of technician training program preferred
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
• One - two years working experience as a pharmacy technician in an institutional setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in the formulation of medications
• Prepare medications for dispensing
• Dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies
• Deliver medications to appropriate locations
