About The Position
Baptist Health is currently looking to hire a Registered IV Admixture Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches, located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a PRN (as needed), weekday and weekend shift opportunity. At Baptist Beaches, our IV techs play a crucial role in the preparation and delivery of sterile medications administered via IV to patients. IV techs work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure safe and timely medication therapy-often for critical care, surgery, oncology, or intensive care patients. As an IV Admixture Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for: All activities performed by this pharmacy technician will be under the supervision of a Florida-licensed pharmacist. Candidates must have hospital-based pharmacy experience and at least six months of experience working in an IV room. This IV Admixture Pharmacy Technician position is located at Baptist Beaches. Requirements
- Hospital-based pharmacy experience
- At least six months of experience working in an IV room
- Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy Required

- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting the pharmacist on duty
- Compounding IV admixtures
- Filling automated dispensing cabinets and unit-dose medication orders and envelopes
- Performing basic reconstitution of oral suspensions
- Packaging medications
