Assists a licensed pharmacist, as directed, in compounding, preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing of both hazardous and non-hazardous pharmaceuticals to fill valid prescriptions or medication orders. Performs essential functions related to pharmaceutical compounding, medication distribution, quality assurance and compliance, and medication inventory management, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and complies with all federal and New York State laws, rules, and regulations as promulgated by the New York State Board of Pharmacy. Responsible for all duties related to the Pharmacy Technician II and Pharmacy Assistants. The starting annual salary for this position is $50,425 and this includes a full comprehensive benefits package.
