Requirements

• National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT from National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with NYS Office of the Professions, State Education Department.
• High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma.
• Equivalent of one (1) year of full-time pharmacy assistant or pharmacy technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in compounding, preparing, packaging, labeling, and dispensing pharmaceuticals.
• Perform essential functions related to pharmaceutical compounding and medication distribution.
