Shady Grove Medical Center - Rehab seeks to hire an experienced Pharmacy Technician II who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will: Prepares and delivers medication to Pyxis Maintains an accurate inventory of medications and supplies by performing inventory management cycle counts and Pyxis unit inspections with electronic documentation Assesses need for and prepacks oral and solid medications for dispensing Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED/equivalent
- Licensure as Pharmacy Technician by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from an ASHP accredited or PTCB recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred.
- 1 year of pharmacy experience
- Previous experience with Cerner, Pyxis, Pharmogistics, Carousels.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
