About The Position
Where You’ll Work The Woodlands Hospital a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services, neurosciences, pediatric care and surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Pharmacy Tech II you will perform a variety of tasks in support of the daily workflow of the pharmacy. Prepares, distributes and delivers medications in accordance with CSH policies and procedures, The Joint Commission requirements, and Department of Health regulations. Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels Operates and maintains automated medication delivery systems and devices
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 6 months compounding of IV medication
- Registered Pharmacy Tech in the state in which the employee works
Responsibilities
- Prepares, distributes and delivers medications in accordance with CSH policies and procedures, The Joint Commission requirements, and Department of Health regulations.
- Maintains proper medication and supply stock levels
- Operates and maintains automated medication delivery systems and devices
