About The Position

Now Hiring – Pharmacy Technician II 24 hour cassettes– Partners Pharmacy New Jersey 50 Lawrence Road Springfield NJ 07081 Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm; every other weekend; 2 major and 1 minor holiday The Pharmacy Technician II will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- PTCB license, a plus
Responsibilities
- Print/Sort Labels for filling prescriptions
- Assist with processing of pharmacy orders, including assembling of required items, packaging, labeling and completing necessary paperwork.
- Process and Update Emergency Kits
- Maintain cleanliness in pharmacy area
- Package/Seal Blister Packs & complete associated packaging logs
- Operate Packaging machines
- Prepare orders for Bagging/delivery
- Assist with Inventory
- Check shelves for expired/damaged meds
- Assist with return drug procedures
- Stock medications
- Monitor and perform back order procedures
- Assist with training of new employees
