As a Pharmacy Technician you will use your skills and compassion in caring for our patients as an integral part of the hospital pharmacy team. In this role: Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility has an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. We have the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. Our 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults. Requirements

(PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License, or (CPhT) Certified Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining medication storage and security.
You will interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.
You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.
You will transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.
You will perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned.
You will help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste
