We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician II Part Time for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will be responsible for accurately performing all advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. This position may be responsible for performing duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets and other specialized duties as assigned by the pharmacy management team.

Requirements

• CPhT Certified Pharmacy Technician
• PharmTech Pharmacy Technician License

Responsibilities

• Maintain medication storage and security.
• Interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.
• Accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.
• Perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned.
• Help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste.
• Help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed.
