Requirements

• Registration with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern within 75 days of hire required.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of intravenous admixture and pharmacy automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications from labels entered by pharmacists and problem solves as it relates to the orders.
• Prepares intravenous solutions utilizing aseptic technique.
• Performs regulatory and organizational requirements without reminders.
• Maintains focus and composure in a fast-paced work environment.
• Calculates medication dosages with knowledge of metric measurement conversions.
• Prepares the patients' medication carts for verification by the pharmacist.
