Position Summary This is an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to excel in a complex, team-oriented environment while having the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical skills and pharmacology knowledge while working from home. The Non-Clinical Divert technician is responsible for screening orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides. Basic knowledge and understanding of a pharmacy workflow, efficient using a computer and keyboard, strong problem solving skills and the ability to think globally is key to your success. As part of the team, you will have an important and uniquely rewarding role putting your skills and experiences to work in a closed-door practice setting. You will be essential to ensure patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner and directing questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification. We require our licensed pharmacy technicians to think outside the box and get creative! To help support growth and development, technicians may be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required. You will be expected to meet specified production and quality standards as defined by the management team. Colleagues must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas. Hours vary per state operating hours, shifts are Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays (subject to change). Overtime/extended work weeks will be required when needed. The position is a work from home with training to be completed virtually.
