Requirements

• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Florida is required.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish with a focus on patient service.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and medication administration protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the pharmacy field.

Nice To Haves

• PTCB Certified (highly preferred)
• Experience in patient care within a hospital or critical care environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain medication inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and managing returns.
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions regarding medications and health-related inquiries.
• Utilize aseptic technique when compounding sterile products, including IV infusions.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice.
• Document medication administration accurately in patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Participate in training and education programs to enhance knowledge of pharmacy practices.
