The Pharmacy Technician, L1 will perform functions of filling, shipping and/or packing of prescription orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. May work in any of the assigned functions of cold packing, single bagging, control room, or bulk packing. Perform duties related to the process of all receiving and replenishment of product through the facility to include direct and wholesaler products as well as supplies of inventory. Perform functions related to the receipt of material including the loading and unloading of trucks, matching the manifest to received material. Utilizes RF devices as well as operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to receive material. Work with Inventory Coordinator on receiving variances (shortages & overages) and exceptions (damages & expirations). Process incoming transfers and work with Inventory Coordinator on vendor returns. Ensure the warehouse area is clean and well organized.

Requirements

• Active Texas pharmacy technician license.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Shipping/Packing experience or similar work experience in a production environment.
• Ability to push and pull heavy mail bins.
• Ability to use 10-key pad on the computer.
• Must maintain a focus on work and meet production requirements without compromising quality.
• Regular and predictable attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Formal Pharmacy Technician training.
• Prior Pharmacy Technician experience.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
