Some weekend work Under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, the Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for the filling and packaging of prescriptions in an accurate and timely manner for delivery to our customers. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements)
  • Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)
  • 1+ years of related experience (technical knowledge/skills may substitute for experience)
  • Proficient in word/excel/email
  • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire about inaccuracies

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy software experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Understand requirements and procedures for handling, distribution, inventory control, and security of controlled substances.
  • Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply of medication available to complete all orders.
  • Accurately pull and stage medications for scheduled cycle fill production
  • Maintain strict accuracy and productivity standards
  • Keep pull areas organized, clean, and production-ready
  • Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.
  • Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
