Under minimal direction, coordinates a program or service within designated pharmacy areas. Functions mostly independently in decision making with limited guidance. Performs Quality Assurance activities and projects as assigned. Maintains department records and assigned departmental/institutional programs. May interact with other departments and/or businesses outside of Corewell Health System. Enhanced knowledge of area assigned above and beyond technician responsibilities. Coordinates area of assigned responsibility within the pharmacy department. Assumes ownership and ensures quality and completeness of work assigned. Participates in assigned group work or committees. Responsible for data collection and/or reporting related to assigned area/project. Serves as a role model and leader in the department. Escalates any concerns that are identified in their area of work through chain of command. Involved with business operations and/or department compliance initiatives.   • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of four years of pharmacy experience.
  • LIC-Pharmacy Technician - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • Pharmacy Technician possessing Full Pharmacy Technician License and National Certification, such as PTCB or ExCPT
  • Teaching or Pharmacy Education background
  • Serving as a program instructor for the Corewell Health Academy of Pharmacy Technicians
  • Serving as an instructor and liaison with the pharmacy technician training class at Innovations High School
  • Developing and delivering content for the Corewell Health Pharmacy System Orientation
