Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent certification required.
• Registration with the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy required within 30 days of employment.
• One to three months of related experience or training preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of Pharmacy Technician Technical Program preferred.
• Experience in accounting or knowledge of insurance and Medicare.

• Assist in drug preparation, storage, distribution, and inventory management under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain confidentiality when dealing with customers.
