About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician at the Central Fulfillment Center is responsible for working in a closed-door, fast-paced pharmacy facility on a production line. They are responsible for filling prescriptions under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician will work with prescription filling automation technologies and semi-manual/manual workstations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of orders and maintain a continuous and consistent workflow to help meet team goals. The position is based in Ridgefield, WA. The schedule will be 5 days per week, 1st Shift. Hours will be Sunday through Wednesday 6:30am - 3:00PM, Sat 8-4:30PM.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety and security procedures and processes of the company.
  • Use scanning and counting technologies to identify and select appropriate pharmaceutical products and quantities for filling prescription orders.
  • Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies: monitoring inventory and supply levels at the responsible stations, calibrating machines, escalating technical issues, and working as a team to reach team goals.
  • Create and maintain documentation as requested.
  • Manually fill prescriptions as needed.
  • Verify attributes of the product such as: size, strength, quantity, etc. before processing orders. Enter or scan expiration date and lot numbers.
  • Ensure labels on prescriptions are correct.
  • Prepare packages, sort, and manifest prescription orders if needed.
  • Stock and rotate merchandise and supplies to limit shrinkage if needed.
  • Assist Inventory Technicians as requested. Participate in Inventory Audits as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.
