About The Position

The Staff Auditor is responsible for identifying pharmacy audit risks using analytical skills and audit tools, as well as developing and executing audit plans and procedures necessary to address those risks. This position involves completing investigational audits to correct identified risks and presenting findings to the Senior Audit Manager. The Staff Auditor may also participate in third-party audits and collaborate with cross-functional partners to conduct necessary research and provide background knowledge for interpreting audit scope. Additionally, this role may serve as a resource for less experienced team members and engage in special projects as needed. In this role, the Staff Auditor will utilize current programs and analytical procedures, including Access and Excel, to identify financial and contract compliance risks for pharmaceutical clients. The performance of audits will include obtaining, analyzing, and appraising evidentiary data to form an informed, objective opinion on the accuracy and legitimacy of the audited data. The Staff Auditor will participate in all external Third Party Pharma Audits, working closely with the Pharma Account Manager to ensure thorough research is conducted to provide accurate background knowledge necessary for developing and interpreting the audit scope. After completing an audit, the Staff Auditor will publish an internal report detailing all deficiencies or recommendations made by the sponsor's representative and will collaborate with business owners to remediate any identified risks. The position requires analyzing audit findings to determine the validity of any discrepancies and handling complex issues identified during audits. The Staff Auditor will prepare formal and thorough written reports that provide opinions on the findings of the audits performed, client impact, and ESI risk, submitting these findings to the Audit Manager for review. The role demands efficient and effective investigational audits that align with departmental policies and corporate goals while meeting or exceeding personal production targets.
