About The Position

The Pharmacy Technician, Ambulatory uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information to process prescriptions. Assists the pharmacists in performing technical duties related to the distribution of drugs to patients. Monitors medication inventory levels and places orders to restock. Develops strong relationships with colleagues and customers. Supports pharmacological services by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, placing, and expediting orders, reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, compounding sterile and non-sterile products, and other pharmaceutical therapies. Requirements

  • Previous hospital or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
  • High School or GED required.
  • CPhT - Certified Pharmacy Technician - State of Pennsylvania
  • Must be Registered in the State of PA as a Pharmacy Tech by June 2026
