About the Department The UVA Comprehensive Cancer Center is one of just 57 in the nation to hold that designation by the National Cancer Institute, and the first in Virginia. At the Emily Couric Clinic Cancer Center Infusion Pharmacy, our pharmacy technicians are essential to the safe, accurate, and patient‑centered preparation of intravenous (IV) chemotherapy and specialty infusion therapies.
