This position offers opportunities for healthcare professionals in Atlanta and beyond. The Pharmacy Tech II assists Pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. The role involves various technical duties related to the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacy Tech II is expected to demonstrate proficiency in two or more specific pharmacy function areas, including production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. This role also provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
Responsibilities
- Assists Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders.
