Job Summary: To prepare and distribute routine dosage orders. Prepackage pharmaceuticals, and prepare sterile compounds as directed. To measure, mix, count, label, and record amounts of dosages and prescriptions. Assist pharmacist in the dispensing of prescriptions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of procedures and standards for the labeling and dispensing of prescribed medications. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
