About The Position

Requirements

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Processes member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware.
• Maintains merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Handles claims and returns in accordance with company policies.
• Monitors and resolves problems in the prescription fulfillment process.
• Promotes and maintains the Pharmacy's professional reputation.
• Provides patient member service in the Pharmacy area.
• Enters prescription data into pharmacy software.
• Fills prescriptions by retrieving and preparing medication.
• Provides member assistance during prescription pickup.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by collaborating with others.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics.
