About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for processing member purchases, maintaining merchandise presentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will assist in the prescription fulfillment process, provide excellent customer service, and handle various pharmacy-related tasks. Your role will involve operating cash registers, stocking merchandise, managing prescription data, and promoting the pharmacy's professional reputation. Requirements

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by PTCB or NHA within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware.
• Maintain merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Handle claims and returns in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor and resolve problems in the prescription fulfillment process.
• Promote and maintain the pharmacy's professional reputation.
• Provide patient/member service in the pharmacy area.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software.
• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist members during prescription pickup.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by collaborating with managers and coworkers.
