About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for processing member purchases, maintaining merchandise presentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will assist in the prescription fulfillment process, handle third-party insurance claims, and provide excellent customer service to members. Your role will involve entering prescription data, filling prescriptions accurately, and assisting members during prescription pickup. You will also be expected to collaborate with team members and management to improve processes and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Meets all state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Must obtain National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 9 months of job entry.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware.
• Maintain merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Handle claims and returns in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor and resolve problems in the prescription fulfillment process.
• Promote and maintain the pharmacy's professional reputation.
• Provide patient/member service in the pharmacy area.
• Enter prescription data into pharmacy software.
• Fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist members during prescription pickup.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using company policies and resources.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
