About The Position
The position involves processing member purchases by operating cash registers and related hardware, using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold. The role includes maintaining merchandise presentation in the pharmacy by stocking and rotating merchandise and supplies, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and organizing product displays, and ensuring a safe work environment. The employee will monitor and resolve problems in the prescription fulfillment process, assist patients with prescription orders, and provide member service in the pharmacy area. Responsibilities also include entering prescription data into pharmacy software, filling prescriptions accurately, and completing required documentation. The position requires compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as maintaining the pharmacy's professional reputation.
