About The Position
Fill and price requisitions for other services or departments. (FT Tech Only) Maintain pharmacies stock and reorder stock as needed. Enter charges and credits into computer system. (FT Tech Only) Assists in maintaining adequate drug supply. Process invoices and purchase orders, monitor to ensure purchase orders and invoices agree and resolve any difference. Assist pharmacists with checking crash carts, EMS boxes for expiration dates and restocking. Maintain prepacked stock and fill EMS boxes. Check for expiration dates on medication stocked in the pharmacy, Pyxis, OR ED and all medication refrigerators. Cleans IV hood on a regular basis and maintains supplies that are used for the IV room and hood. Other duties deemed necessary by CEO.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 18 years of age or older.
- National Certification within 2 years of employment.
- Registration as required by State of Georgia.
