The Meds to Beds (M2B) Technician/Technician is responsible for enrolling patients into the bedside medication delivery program and in addition, coordinate the filling, delivery, counseling, and billing of prescriptions to the patient's rooms prior to discharge. As a the Meds to Beds Technician will also assist with duties performed in EasyRx - outpatient pharmacy including but not limited to: • Prescription processing • Insurance processing • Prior authorization • Other duties as required Tasks performed contribute directly to the preparation and/or dispensing of a final dosage form for administration to a patient and are directly supervised by a pharmacist. For providing customer service by answering phone requests and triaging calls to the appropriate person if they cannot answer the requested information and for applying departmental processes regarding inventory control.
