We are searching for a talented Pharmacy Tech-Oncology Hours: 24hrs Shift: Day shift, 7:00am - 5:00pm Location: Oncology - Fairhaven, MA; Required to work at both the Fall River and the Fairhaven sites on a weekly basis and as needed. Requirements

  • High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
  • Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification is required within 18 months of hire.
  • One year of related work experience is required
  • Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Nice To Haves

  • Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
  • three years is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Manager, Pharmacy Oncology or Designee and direct supervision of the Pharmacist, perform a wide variety of duties involving responsibility in preparing products using aseptic techniques and batching medications following USP797/800 guidelines as well as performing all cleaning per guidelines.
  • Other duties include the purchasing of supplies and medications and generating automated dispensing machine (ADM) reports with appropriate follow-up.
